Safety evaluation of pharmaceuticals and products

Would you like to verify the safety of the chemicals and products handled in your business?

According to national labor accident statistics and reports of household product accidents, incidents and health damage caused by chemical substances have not decreased. When including small accidents and near misses, it is believed that there are a considerable number of dangerous cases. In several cases handled by our office, there were instances where hazardous materials or harmful substances were handled without knowledge of the chemicals involved, and cases where individuals were actually exposed to high concentrations of chemical substances during work, making it impossible to deny health risks. Our office checks safety in handling based on component information, physical and toxic properties, or actual measured values. Based on these results, we provide alternative proposals and support for safe handling. Furthermore, it is also possible to promote these evaluation results as features of products or services. We propose better methods for the health of workers, nearby residents, or users and pets. Please feel free to contact us via email or phone. We can also have discussions online.

Safety management support for construction related to chemical substances.

We support safety management for the removal of buried objects, handling foreign materials encountered during construction, and environmental purification.

Experts familiar with environmental pollutants and chemicals (such as those with a doctorate in engineering) provide support for safety management and proper handling during construction involving various chemicals and for the removal of materials for processing. Through historical research, on-site measurements, and analysis and testing in laboratories, we consider safe handling methods based on the chemicals present and support safety management on-site. We also assist in explaining matters to landowners and administrative bodies. We cater to everything from simple consultations to large-scale remedial construction projects.

Low-cost chemical safety assessment

Leave it to us for affordable and rapid chemical toxicity assessments!

At the Yokohama National University Environmental Safety Engineering Laboratory, which is the origin of our organization, we have been handling toxicity information for many years. In this service, we utilize the accumulated toxicity information and know-how to conduct safety evaluations without performing precise individual analyses, taking into account the physical properties of chemical substances, reliable toxicity information, and the conditions at the site of chemical use. Depending on your requests and the substances being evaluated, it is also possible to conduct evaluations based on simplified analysis results from the field. Please make use of this for screening evaluations in environments where chemical substances are handled.
